Fresh butcher shop meats from Prevites and local seafood straight from the bay thanks to our local oysterman!
SUPPORT OUR MISSION
All fundraisers held throughout the year go directly to POST 223. These help fund all the free events held at the legion and the community involvement that the POST sponsors in the local community.
Your support helps POST 223 continue its incredible work:
• Organizing Memorial Day parades and cemetery ceremonies
• Honoring veterans through events for Pearl Harbor Day, Purple Heart Recipients, Vietnam Veterans, Flag Day, and Veterans Day
• Hosting premier military bands
• Sponsoring scouting groups and youth baseball teams
• Sending six high school juniors to Boys/Girls State annually
• Awarding over $8,000 in scholarships each year to graduating
seniors
• Hosting free events for veterans and their families for holidays and social gatherings
MEMORIES
This is our first year with the POST 223 Hospitality Committee and it has been a wonderful success with involvement from both Legionaries and Social Members.
